IND vs SL ODI: Sri Lanka Captain Shanaka & Coach Mickey Arthur get in very heated argument after 2nd ODI, check video: Sri Lanka’s head coach Mickey Arthur and skipper Dasun Shanaka were spotted indulging in a verbal spat after Sri Lanka’s loss against India in the second ODI in Colombo. The head coach seemingly vented out his frustration on the Lankan skipper after Sri Lanka lost the match that was nearly in their favor.
It is just me or anyone else that micky Arthur is now overreacting #IndianCricketTeam #INDvSL @OfficialSLC #Cricket #Chahar pic.twitter.com/vxZdqGG9qt

The coach supposedly outbursted on the field for he couldn’t resonate with the field placements and the bowling changes that Sri Lanka deployed during their bowling. The coach was seen fuming up when a couple of boundaries went through the third man’s slot during Deepak Chahar- Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s partnership.
Even as the video culminated, Arthur was seen walking off after disagreeing with the captain.
IND vs SL ODI: Russell Arnold states such interaction should happen in dressing room
Talking of the unpleasant viral video, former Sri Lanka cricketer Russell Arnold remarked that such engagements between the coach and the skipper should happen in the dressing room.
That conversation between Coach and captain should not have happened on the field but in the dressing room 🤔

Soon after Arnold’s words, Arthur cleared the stance by replying to Arnold on Twitter. The head coach asserted that was just a healthy debate between him and the captain Dasun Shanaka and also asked the former player not to aggravate the issue.
Russ we win together and lose together but we learn all the time!Dasun and myself are growing a team and we both were very frustrated we did not get over the line!It was actually a very good debate,no need to make mischief out of it!
