The second test match would be a Day and Night game, however, the added bonus for the match would be the inclusion on the fans. Initially, 50% of fans were allowed entry, and the tickets were sold within an hour. However, now with no restrictions in stadium capacity, it can be assumed that fans would flock to the stadium to watch the likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Co, take on the Sri Lankans.
The pitch of the Bangalore could have a unique effect on the batters with the usage of the SG pink ball which is made with hard lacquer. Over the years, it has been seen that the pitch becomes favorable for the batters during the first three days. However, as the play progresses, the pitch starts to crack, it starts favouring the spinners on the last two days. What effect the pink SG ball has on this pitch, remains to be seen.
