India captain KL Rahul will be on the hunt for a huge record during the India vs South Africa series. While a win in the first game sees India register a Guinness Book record, the Karnataka will be willing to let the bat do the talking.
In his international career, KL Rahul has amassed over 1800 runs in 56 games, and a further 169 would see him become the 3rd Indian to 2000 T20I runs.Should he do so, he will be the third fastest to the milestone, only behind Pakistan captain Babar Azam and former India skipper Virat Kohli.

Meanwhile, World No. 1 Tabraiz Shamsi will hope to make the most of the conditions on offer as he continues to hunt for wickets. The left-arm chinaman bowler is South Africa’s third highest wicket taker and could easily leapfrog Dale Steyn and Imran Tahir with a good series.
Rassie van der Dussen is also 67 shy of 1000 T20 runs, and could become the eighth South African to breach that barrier.
Kuldeep Yadav, should he feature regularly, could also help himself to another milestone and become the fifth Indian bowler to 50 T20I wickets. Currently only Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah, Ravichandran Ashwin and Bhuvneshwar Kumar have reached that mark, and Kuldeep needs nine more to do so. Hardik Pandya is also in contention, having taken 42 wickets in his career so far.
