“Best of luck. Ek century ban ta hein. @ImRo45,” Dowarah captioned the photo.

In response to the tweet, fans who were confused by the serious expressions mistook the snapshot for an arrest photo by displaying their wit.

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma became the first Indian cricketer to play 400 T20 matches. The 35-year old achieved the feat when he walked out for the toss during the second T20I against South Africa at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati on 2nd October, Sunday.

Before departing for Australia for the T20 World Cup, Rohit Sharma has just one game to address the bowling woes. Having sealed their first-ever series against South Africa at home, India are resting Virat Kohli and KL Rahul. But with no Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami available, the Indore T20 will be one last opportunity to get the bowling attack ready.

India’s bowling attack needs addressing and Rohit Sharma has already admitted that. Arshdeep Singh and Harshal Patel have been expensive. Although Arshdeep has picked up regular wickets, his economy rate has been poor. India conceded 65 runs in the last four overs in the 2nd T20.

Had Quinton de Kock been a little more attacking in the middle overs, India would have failed to defend 237 runs in 20 overs.
