Rishabh Pant’s Poor Form in T20I
- Pant’s poor form has been continuing since the beginning of IPL 2022.
- Pant managed to score just 57 games in the 4 T20I matches against South Africa.
- His highest score came in the first game where he smacked 29 off just 16 deliveries.
- In the next games, he scored, 5 off 7, 6 off 8, and today 17 off 23.
- IPL 2022 was no different for Rishabh Pant. He managed to score just 340 runs in 13 innings with an average of 30.90. Pant failed to score a fifty in IPL 2022 as his highest score was just 44.
Pant was selected to be the vice-captain of the squad while KL Rahul was deemed to lead the team against the Proteas. With Rahul pulling out of the squad with a right groin strain on the eve of the first game, Pant was promoted as the skipper of the team for this series.
