IND SA 3rd ODI Highlights: India win by 7 wickets, seal 2-1 series win – Kuldeep Yadav and the rest of the bowling attack set up India’s dominating 7-wicket win over South Africa. Kuldeep picked up 4 wickets as the Proteas were bowled out for just 99, their lowest score against India. Shubman Gill slammed 49 in the run chase, while Shreyas Iyer sealed the deal with a massive six.

Dhawan won the toss and put South Africa into bat. The hosts remained unchanged while the visitors made 3 with David Miller leading the side. The decision turned out to be a masterstroke with Washington Sundar getting rid of Quinton de Kock in just his second over.

Mohammed Siraj and Avesh Khan created further pressure as Janneman Malan and Reeza Hendricks fell prey to the former in the powerplay. The Proteas managed only 26/3 in the first 10 overs and there was no coming back for the visitors after that.

Playing just his second ODI, Shahbaz Ahmed tied down the South African batters with his accuracy. The left-arm spinner dismissed the dangerous Aiden Markram and later put the final nail in the coffin with the dismissal of Heinrich Klassen.

Kuldeep Yadav however was the star as he ended any hopes of South Africa putting on a decent score. The left-arm wrist spinner got rid of Andile Phehlukwayo to kick off a collapse. He followed it by cleaning up the tail, with Marco Jansen, Anrich Nortje and Bjorn Fortuin all becoming his victims.

In the chase, Shubman Gill slammed a fine 49 even as Shikhar Dhawan struggled at the other end. The Indian captain was run out for 8 as the left-hander paid the price for his tardiness in getting back into the crease. Ishan Kishan played a couple of eye-catching strokes before Bjorn Fortuin struck.

In-form Shreyas Iyer then got into the groove and India cantered to a win, despite Shubman Gill throwing away a chance to score a half-century.
