KL Rahul’s return to the India squad has not been good so far. Post-IPL 2022, Rahul was ruled out of the India vs South Africa T20 series when he got injured. Rahul then got his surgery for a sports hernia and started his recovery for the National team comeback. It was scheduled that Rahul might recover for the West Indies tour but he tested positive for covid days before his fitness test.
Rahul however passed his fitness test and led his side to a 3-0 ODI win against Zimbabwe. In Zimbabwe, Rahul didn’t get the much-needed batting practice. In the first ODI, he didn’t a chance to bat, he fumbled in the second ODI and managed to score some decent runs in the final ODI.
