Pakistan captain Babar Azam met his counterpart Rohit Sharma after the latter’s training session with the Indian team at the ICC Academy. Azam and Rohit engaged in a lengthy chat with the Pakistan skipper enquiring about the Hit-Man’s family. Rohit also talked in detail with his rival captain all smiles in what seemed like a heartwarming conversation.

Despite the rivalry, both India and Pakistan players have interacted with each other in a friendly manner in the build-up to the mega-blockbuster clash. Azam was previously seen talking to Virat Kohli and wished him well ahead of the tournament. Kohli alongside KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant greeted the injured Shaheen Afridi in Dubai, wishing him a speedy recovery.

Both Babar Azam and Rohit Sharma will be key to their side’s chances when they take the field in Dubai on Sunday. In his last meeting against Pakistan, Rohit was out for a duck and now captain the 35-year-old will hope to find his gear and make up for it. Azam on the other hand scored a match-winning half-century to lead Pakistan to a 10-wicket win.
