It is important to note that this is not new to the Indian team. They have taken such stance in the past too.
The reasons could be many. It is also a case of BCCI showing their superiority over other boards of the region. More than that, it is also the influence of Jay Shah, who is also the VP of the Asian Cricket Council. The latter takes care of all the team logistics and preparation for the teams in the competition.
In fact, the Indian team have also been allowed to train in the evening hours due to the hot conditions in Dubai, reported Geo TV.

The Indian team, after reaching in Dubai, took their first training session on Wednesday. Pakistan and Afghanistan were the first two teams to practice. But when the weather became much more cooler, it was the turn of Rohit Sharma and co to get the feel of the conditions.
On Thursday, India have another practice session in the evening, followed by a team meeting in the ground as well.
Also, India will be playing all their matches in Dubai. The distance between Dubai International Stadium and Palm Jumeirah Resort in Dubai is 27 kms.
India vs Pakistan: All eyes is on the India vs Pakistan clash on August 28. The two teams have played any bilateral cricket for long time, and have been limited to ICC and ACC events. Thus, this clash is extra special for all cricket fans, who are expected to make it a lively atmosphere at the Dubai International Stadium.
The tickets were sold out like hot cakes for the big clash. With it being the first game of the tournament for both the sides, the match is expected to set the tone for the rest of the tournament as well.
