In the third T20 match at Narendra Modi Stadium, Rahul Tripathi’s little cameo came to end in the second delivery of the ninth over. Ish Sodhi bowled a flat delivery on the middle leg, and Tripathi shuffles to sweep it behind square. Gets it a bit high on the bat and Ferguson at deep backward square leg completes a nice catch.
The right-handed batter had an ordinary outing with the bat during the first and second T20I of the three-match home series against New Zealand. In the first T20, he got out on a duck and in the second T20 he managed to score 13 runs off 18 balls. While in the third T20, he looked in sublime form and went on to score a crucial 44 runs on 22 balls.
