IND vs NZ Stat Wrap-up: Virat Kohli only captain with 50 wins in each format, Ashwin completes 300 Test wickets in India 

The India team has now win 14 Test series at home on the trot. Last time India lost a Test series in their  own backyard was in 2013. Further, India have now won each of the 11 Test series that they have played under the captaincy of Virat Kohli at home.

Virat Kohli achieved a major milestone with the big win in the 2-Test series which had seen New Zealand play an enthralling draw in Kanpur. The 33-year-old talismanic cricketer has now won at least 50 matches as a player in each format of the game.

The Test series also saw a lot of milestones being achieved by off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin – the third highest wicket-taker for India in the Test format now. The 35-year-old had yesterday become the only player to take 50 or more wickets in 2021.

Ashwin grabbed the last wicket on Monday morning which saw him become the only bowler after Anil Kumble to take 300 or more wickets in India.
