The father-daughter duo share a very special bond. The Indian skipper constantly shares photos of her daughter on his social media account. Recently, the senior batter shared a heartwarming post where the 35-year-old could be seen watching his daughter paint.  With Rohit not part of the T20I series against the Blackcaps, he can spend some quality time with his daughter before gearing up for the upcoming series against the strong Australian side.

Rohit looked in excellent touch with the bat during the ODI series against NewZealand. The right-handed batter ended his century drought as he smashed an excellent 101 runs in just 85 balls to bring up his 30th ODI century. Rohit achieved this feat during the third ODI encounter as the Men in Blue sealed the ODI series 3-0.

The Indian skipper will be back in action for the important fixtures against Australia. Team India will host Australia for four Test and three ODI matches. The Test series is also crucial for India’s qualification for the World Test Championship final. India are currently holding the Border Gavaskar trophy after their 2-1 series win against Australia in their own backyard in 2020-21. The Test series will be played in Nagpur, Delhi, Dharamshala and Ahmedabad. The ODI matches will be held in Mumbai, Visakhapatnam and Chennai.
