The duo discussed the call with Rohit Sharma suggesting that the ball was going down the leg stump. Rahul however opted against the review and decided to walk back. Later replays and the ball tracking showed that the ball would have comfortably missed the stumps, and he was actually not out.
KL Rahul looked in good touch and got a delightful boundary early on, but his innings was cut short on Thursday. The game vs Netherlands was a good opportunity for the Indian vice-captain to spend some time in the middle and get runs under his belt. In the T20 World Cup, Rahul has scores of 4 and 9 and the Men in Blue need their opener to deliver when it matters.
