Ind vs Eng: Virat Kohli fails to lift India at Lord’s, continues his lean patch in England – India captain Virat Kohli, who has not scored an international century for almost two years now, has failed to put up a good show yet again as he was dismissed on Sam Curran on 20 in the 2nd Test match against England here at the Lord’s Cricket Ground on Sunday. Since his November 2019 Test ton against Bangladesh, Kohli has not scored a single century for Team India. (Virat Kohli’s century drought)

Ind vs Eng: India captain got out in the same fashion as he has been dismissed on the last two occasions in this series. Sam bowled an out-swinging delivery which Virat tried to defend but edged it to the wicket-keeper. There were huge celebrations after the wicket as India is on the back foot after losing their top three in the Lord’s Test. Virat was expected to break his century drought in Lord’s Test however he has failed to impress once again and it is a big thing of concern for the Indian team management.

Virat was so frustrated with his wicket that he threw his batting gloves in the dressing room. 

Virat Kohli’s century drought

Ind vs Eng: Kohli is known to play some of the most remarkable innings across all formats in the last 10 years but his ongoing form has been unimpressive. He started the series with a duck but he had impressed with 42 runs off 103 balls. However, he failed to score big despite settling at the crease for an amorous time. He is yet to score a century since 630 days. Besides this, he is unable to score a half-century in the last 6 innings.
