Opening with KL Rahul, Sharma looked in fine touch right from the start. He gave himself quite some time to accommodate on the pitch but kept ticking the scoreboard as well. In his 59 run knock, he smashed seven fours and one six.

With this over the ropes hit, Sharma has become the player to have the most sixes in this Test series between India vs England.
The 34-year old Indian batsman has been in good form in the ongoing year. He has amassed 768 in his 19 outings and returned with an average of 45.17.

The senior player has a fair record against England. In the 15 innings he has played against the Three Lions, Sharma has mustered 609 runs and managed an average of 46.84.
However, his form against England overseas is slightly on the lower side compared to his bizarre playing style. He averages 36.44 in the English conditions.
