Azam added that Kohli has done absolutely well over a long time for India and the former captain should be given a longer rope in the team. He added, “As a player I can go through times like these. At such times, you need support. I sent that tweet just to show support. He is one of the best players there is, and he knows how to get out of this. It might take a bit of time, and the more we back him, the better.”

Now, on Saturday, Kohli replied to Babar’s post, thanking him for his words of support. “Thank you. Keep shining and rising. Wish you all the best (clap emoji),” read Kohli’s reply on Twitter.
With every low score, Kohli’s form has become a hot topic of discussion, with many suggesting that he should take a break from the game while others called for him to be dropped from the Indian team in a year where the Men’s T20 World Cup is scheduled to happen in Australia.
Indian cricket enthusiasts will be hoping that Kohli gets a big knock under his belt when India face England in the series decider third ODI at Old Trafford in Manchester on Sunday. The 33-year-old will miss the tour of West Indies with BCCI opting to rest him and the Manchester game could be the final opportunity for Kohli to get back to his best.
