IND vs ENG LIVE: IND vs ENG 3rd T20 – India handed Umran Malik yet another opportunity on Sunday as the Kashmir Express returned to the Playing XI for the final game against England. Looked at as the next big thing in Indian cricket due to his express pace, Umran was brought back into the side while Rohit Sharma gave rest to senior pros Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. However, the 22-year-old did not have a productive outing, while losing some his feared pace in the 3rd T20. Follow India vs England live updates on Insidesport.IN

Having not featured in the first two games, Rohit Sharma brought back Umran Malik into the line-up on Eid in the 3rd T20 against England. Sharing the new ball with Avesh Khan, Umran was straight away taken to the cleaners by Jos Buttler as England plundered 17 runs from his first over.
Umran however made a good comeback, dismissing Jason Roy after the powerplay, with the England opener finding a thick outside edge through to Rishabh Pant. While the wicket gave him some respite, runs continued to flow, as Phil Salt and Dawid Malan picked up boundaries. His third over again saw him disappearing into the stands, with Malan hitting a six and a four to collect 14 runs off it.

Returning to bowl the final over of the game., Malik again struggled to find his line and length as Chris Jordan picked a four and a six in a 16-run over as England put on 215/7 in their 20 overs.
While the Sunrisers Hyderabad star struggled to make much of an impact, his drop in pace was certainly notable. Having consistently bowled over 150 kmph in the IPL 2022, Malik’s fastest on Sunday was 147.4 kmph. He failed to cross the 150kmph mark even once, on a rather forgetful day.
