IND vs ENG, 2nd Test: Ajinkya Rahane finally returns to form at Lord’s, ends his fifty jinx after 10 inns – India vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane smashed a much needed fifty against England in the 2nd Test here at Lord’s Cricket Ground on Sunday. Rahane had earlier scored a century against England at Lord’s in 2018. India was in big trouble after losing KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma and captain Virat Kohli cheaply. Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara’s century helped India get out of trouble and post a competitive total against England.

There was a question mark on Rahane’s place in the side since his dip in the form after the Australia series. Mayank Agarwal is in the squad who can bat at number five in Rahane’s place as his original spot (Opener) has been sealed by KL Rahul with an excellent century.
