IND vs BAN Highlights – Bangladesh win by 1 wicket: A stunning knock from Mehidy Hasan Miraz saw Bangladesh take a 1-0 series vs India. Vice-captain KL Rahul dropped Hasan when he was on 15. Needing 50 to win, the all-rounder stitched a record 51-run 10th-wicket partnership with Mustafizur Rahman. The duo took Bangladesh over the line. It was the highest 10th-wicket stand in a chase in ODIs. Earlier, Shakib Al Hasan’s FIFER and Ebadot Hossain’s 4/47 helped Bangladesh bowl out star-studded India for 186. KL Rahul did wage a lone battle with a 73-run knock. But with hardly any support from the other end, India failed to cross even 200-run mark. Watch India vs Bangladesh Highlights with InsideSport.IN.
India started brilliantly in a 186-run defence. In a topsy-turvy match, Deepak Chahar struck in the first ball to remove Najmul Shanto. Soon, Mohammed Siraj removed Anamul Haque. But Bangladesh showed resilience. Shakib Al Hasan and Litton Das soaked up the pressure with a 48-run stand.
While there was some small partnerships in between, Washington Sundar brought India back in the game. With wickets of Litton Das who was going strong at 41 and Shakib Al Hasan, he turned the tide.
