“We’re happy that Mr Rajinikanth has accepted my invite. He s a busy man and agreeing to spend the day with us is a big thing. We’re really grateful for his visit,” Kale, who enjoys a special bond with the film star, told TOI. The superstar was accompanied by his wife Latha.
Speaking about the match, India won the toss and elected to field first. Hardik Pandya is leading in absence of Rohit Sharma, who has missed the first ODI due to family commitments. For Australia, Steve Smith is leading the side. Regular skipper Pat Cummins is away as his mother passed last week. India have won the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2-1 and will be looking to carry the momentum in three ODI matches.
