IND vs AUS Highlights, Day 2: Australia are cruising to their maiden WTC Final title at the end of Day 2. India are 5 wickets down in 469-run chase. Had it not been for Ravindra Jadeja’s counter-attacking 48, India would have been in more trouble. At Day 2 stumps, India posted 151/5 with Ajinkya Rahane (29) and KS Bharat (5) on the crease. India still trail by 318 runs. Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara all fell cheaply.

While Steve Smith played cautiously without taking any risks, Travis Head took on Indian attack. He continued to plunder Indian attack as the pitch got easier to bat on. By Tea, Australia 170/3 and India needed to respond.

However, poor bowling by Umesh Yadav and Shardul Thakur never let India back in the game. Siraj and Shami tried their bit with Ravindra Jadeja also joining in but Head reached his 100 in just 106 balls. Smith brought up a patient half-century off 144 balls as the duo commanded the passage of play.

At the end of Day 1, Australia posted 327/3 with Head unbeaten on 146 and Smith not out on 95.
