2-0 up and confidence sky high, Rohit Sharma will eye two No 1 spots. A win in Indore will guarantee India the WTC Final spot. India are currently 2nd in the WTC Standings with 64.06 PCT. Only Sri Lanka can surpass India at this stage. However, a win will confirm India’s spot. Australia need just a draw to officially seal the deal.
A win in Indore will be crucial for India to keep the momentum. The only way India can miss out on the WTC Final spot is if Australia win in both Indore and Ahmedabad while SriLanka pull off a huge upset in NewZealand with a 2-0 win. If that happens, SriLanka will seal the 2nd spot with 61 PCT. India will be knocked out with 56 PCT.

How can India qualify?
- India are 2nd with 64 percentage point in WTC Standings.
- Australia are at the top with 67 PCT.
- India need to win the series at any cost.
- Rohit Sharma & Co can still qualify with a draw in the 3rd and 4th Tests.
- To put it in simple terms, India need to win 1 match out of two.
- India lead 2-0 but it is still not enough as SriLanka can leapfrog India if they beat NewZealand.
- South Africa and West Indies have been knocked out already.
