Initially, 50% of the fans were allowed by the Karnataka Cricket Board (KCA). On hearing the news, the tickets were sold out within a span of hours. After viewing the immense response and with no restriction levied on the stadium capacity, 100% of fans will be allowed to be present for the match. The tickets, which were up for grabs, both online (from March 1) and offline (March 6), were sold out in no time. Around 10,000 tickets were initially available for the public, while the rest have been reserved for former players, club members etc.
