IND vs NZ 3rd ODI: Record at Christchurch
For the record, India has never played an ODI at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch. Wednesday will be the first time India plays at the venue, looking to level the series. New Zealand, on the other end, has an overwhelming record at the venue.
The Black Caps have played 11 matches at the Hagley Oval and won 10 of them. A staggering record to say the least. Their only loss came to England in 2018. Clearly, New Zealand couldn’t have asked for a better venue than Christchurch to win the home series against India.
The game is already a sold out, as announced by NZC. The fans are eager to see both India and New Zealand fight it out in the middle with the series on the line. Team India will need to rewrite history books in order to end the series on a high. There is no reason, why they can’t, in holy Christchurch on Wednesday?

The Hagley Oval pitch in Christchurch has something in it for both bowlers and batters. The venue has seen some high scoring games in excess of 320s, but has also witnessed bowlers outclassing the willow wielders.
