Over 40 million households will miss out on the broadcast of India vs Australia series as the tussle between broadcasters and the cable operators continue. The likes of Star, Sony, and Zee have hiked tariff rates, which the cable operators have not approved. The broadcasters have added a 10-15 % to their new tariff, raising the prices from Rs 12 to Rs 19. The prices came into effect on February 1.
The tussle comes in after Disney Star already came under the canner for their issues on IND vs AUS 2nd Test. Fans were unable to access the IND vs AUS LIVE Streaming on the platform after the OTT Service failed to renew their domain service.
