IND vs AUS 3RD Test HIGHLIGHTS – Australia win by 9 wickets: Australia have entered World Test Championship (WTC) final after beating India by 9 wickets in Indore. With this win, the Aussies have clawed back in the BGT as they are now one win apart from the hosts (2-1). Day 2 saw Australia dominate the game. India grabbed 6 wickets early to dismiss Australia on 197. But then came the Nathon Lyon Show. He grabbed an eight-fer to rock the entire Indian batting order. Chestweshwar Pujara came to India’s rescue to register a gritty fifty. Australia now needs 76 runs to win the Test match.

Usman Khawaja scored a fine half-century and found support in Marnus Labuschagne as Australia thoroughly dominated Day 1 at Indore. Matthew Kunheman picked up 5 wickets as India crumbled for just 109. Khawaja score 60 as the visitors survived to post 156/4 at Stumps.

It was a minefield in Indore with visitors barely surviving the late surge from Indian spinners.

India’s pitch plan, according to veteran cricket writer Robert Crash Craddock, failed.

“Doctoring a Test wicket is a delicate business,” he wrote in the Courier Mail.

“The Indore deck did not look like an accident. Much like the other two decks in the series it was green in the middle and dryer than desert sands at both ends – and cracking like a car window with a stone through it. If India lose the Test by overcooking the deck then they will deserve no sympathy. If they win it they deserve limited praise.”

Todd Murphy struck to remove dangerman Virat Kohli who top-scored for India with 22. KS Bharat, Shreyas Iyer, Ravindra Jadeja, and Cheteshwar Pujara joined India openers in the pavilion quickly on a tough Indore pitch.

Nathan Lyon castled veteran Sauhrastra batter Pujara. Matt Kuhnemann jolted a double blow to the hosts early. Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma were the victims of the newbie spinner. After surviving twice in 1st over of the match, Kuhnemann removed the India skipper in the 6th over of the match. Team India opted to bat first.

Today Team India is playing Australia in the 3rd Test match in Indore. For India, KL Rahul was dropped as Shubman Gill replaced the Karnataka opener in the Playing XI. Umesh Yadav was preferred over the unfit Mohammed Shami. Steve Smith & Co made two changes with Mitchell Starc and Cameron Green both returning.
