Qualifier 1 – Gulf Giants vs Desert Vipers
Gulf Giants and Desert Vipers faced-off in the first qualifier at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai on Wednesday. Desert Vipers goes straight into the final to be played at the same venue on Sunday – February 12. Gulf Giants get another chance in the second qualifier to be played on Friday – February 10, against the winner of the eliminator.

Eliminator – MI Emirates vs Dubai Capitals
After the qualifier on Wednesday, the eliminator will be played in Sharjah on Thursday – February 09. The participating teams are the MI Emirates and the Dubai Capitals. The only difference being that the loser will bow out of the competition, while the winner advances to the second qualifying round.
There isn’t much to choose between the two sides, with MI Emirates finishing third on the points table with 11 points. Dubai Capitals finished fourth with nine points.
MI Emirates, though, needs to be wary of Dubai Capitals, as the latter has defeated them twice in the tournament already. In the first meeting, Dubai Capitals won by 16 runs, while in the second match, DC won by 7 wickets.
