ICC ODI Rankings: India’s HOPES to grab No. 1 position in ICC ODI RANKINGS dashed, results of next two ODI’s notwithstanding, NewZealand to finish series as World NO. 1

The Kane Williamson-led Kiwis are the current leaders. Even if the KIWIS lose next two matches to India, they will still finish the series on top. NewZealand had leapfrogged England to the top of the pile last week.

As per the latest ICC Rankings, England have dropped a spot following their 3-0 drubbing by Australia. The result saw Kane Williamson’s NewZealand side go top, with only 2 points separating the top 4 sides.

A series win against India will keep the Kiwis atop the standings with New Zealand set to face the Men in Blue in three ODIs at home starting on Friday.

Shikhar Dhawan’s Men in Blue would have become NO.1 in the world by virtue of winning the series 3-0 but now those hopes stand dashed.
