There is no doubt that Dana White favours Jones over Fury as he claims that “Jon Jones is the baddest dude on the planet”.The feud began when Joe Rogan, the UFC commentator said in his podcast that no one believes that Tyson Fury can even defeat Jon Jones.
Tyson Fury had been cut off from all social media, but when he was made aware of the situation he responded to Fury saying that it wouldn’t be possible for Jone Jones on his own to finish him inside the cage.

Jones perceived Fury’s subsequent request for a boxing bout as a retreat from his original position. Dana White has said that if Tyson Fury is serious about his statement, he will allow the fight with Jon Jones to take place in the UFC. As he says, “Let’s find out,” White said. “Listen, we can talk all we want. Tyson can talk, Jon Jones can talk, I can talk, we can all talk. Let’s do it. If Tyson’s serious and he wants to do it—I got Floyd Mayweather to fight. We paid Floyd and got Floyd the number he wanted. If Tyson Fury is serious and he wants to fight Jon Jones in the UFC, let’s start talking.”
Although Jones’ reputation as arguably the best MMA fighter of all time is already well-established, a matchup between him and Fury would undoubtedly rank among the most popular combat sports events ever.
