Esports Awards have become a matter of great anticipation over the last couple of years. Content creators and pro players vie for some of the biggest awards, while also taking jibes at each other.
This year’s iteration of the event will take place in Las Vegas. Interestingly, the nominees for each category started making ripples on the internet June 30 onwards.
Unfortunately for the Juicer, he didn’t find his name on the sheet, which left him utterly disappointed.
xQc reveals his laziness was the reason behind him being left out
During one of his recent streams, xQc took a dig at popular LoL streamer Tyler1, who, in fact did find his name on the sheet.
“Finalists for Streamer of the Year are… oh motherf**ker man. Holy, I mean dude I was lazy this year it is what it is. I f**king fell off, it is what it is. I f**king fell off boys.”
The popular GTA RP streamer didn’t seem unabashed with his name being left out, but seemed shocked with tyler1’s nomination.
“I don’t give a f**k about not being streamer of the year. I don’t give a f**k about not being on that list, but if you’re not gonna put me, don’t put f**king Tyler1. Why the f**k is Tyler1 on there? What the f**k? Bro… where’s Ludwig?”
Mizkif, too, found his name omitted from the list. While he has found his footing as a juggernaut on the red platform, it’s not been long since his popularity boomed in 2021.
Asmongold, Valkyrae, Dr Disrespect and more nominated for the Streamer of the Year Award
xQc might have ruled viewership charts on Twitch as has become a tradition, but the aforementioned streamers were a tad ahead of him.
Valkyrae won the award back in 2020, so its not surprising to see her name on the list. Dr Disrespect is one of the most notorious streamers on the internet and while his rants over the Call of Duty franchise have become an everyday affair, his relationship with the esports community is unexampled.
The released list has everyone on tenterhooks and it is sure to lead to some entertaining drama. Keep following InsideSport.IN for more updates.
