Heath Streak Health Update: ICC Suspension in 2021
Streak is currently under suspension from any cricketing activities after he was handed an eight-year ban for being found guilty of breaching the International Cricket Council’s anti-corruption code two years ago, in 2021.
Following his ban, Streak decided to move to his family farm in the Turk Mine area, 60 kilometres north of Bulawayo.
Despite the ban, Streak had always maintained that he was never involved in any kind of match-fixing activity. He was found guilty of five breaches of the ICC’s code of conduct. His charges included serious accusations like revealing inside information for betting purposes and failing to disclose a payment made in bitcoin from a potential corrupter to anti-corruption officials.
