David Miller will be absent from the opening game, as he is occupied with South Africa vs Netherlands ODI series. In the meanwhile, Mohammed Shami, Alzarri Joseph, Rashid Khan, and Yash Dayal will bowl for Gujarat.
Not to forget there is a rule for Impact player now and it will all depend on pitch conditions on the day, as to which batter/bowler/all-rounder will Hardik Pandya trust. As of now, the choice of Impact player is clearly between Shivam Mavi and R Sai Kishore.
