The tournament will begin on Monday, 14th August 2023. All eyes will be on Novak Djokovic as he is set to return to America after a two-year absence due to the Covid vaccination protocol. He enters the tournament as the second seed. Carlos Alcaraz meanwhile headlines action in the Men’s Singles draws. Carlos Alcaraz leads first quarter

Carlos Alcaraz will enter Cincinnati Masters following his quarterfinal exit at the Canadian Open. The World No.1 will begin his campaign at Cincinnati from the second round. He will begin his campaign by facing either John Isner or a qualifier.

Fifth seed Casper Ruud is the next top-ranked player in the draw. Ruud recently bowed out from the second round at Canadian Open. He will face the winner between Lloyd Harris or a qualifier in his opening match.

Americans Frances Tiafoe and Tommy Paul are the only other seeded players in the quarter. Tommy Pauyl, who beat Alcaraz in the quarterfinal at the Canadian Open is likely to face the Spaniard yet again in the third round. Tommy Paul will face Miomir Kecmanovic in the first round.

10th seed Frnces Tiafoe will begin his campaign against Tallon Griekspoor. Stan Wawrinka is also in the draw after receiving a wildcard. He will take on Brandon Nakashima in the first round.

Stefanos Tsitsipas & Andrey Rublev in second quarter

Fourth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas will begin his campaign in the Cincinnati Masters in the second round. He will face either Ben Shelton or Christopher Eubanks in the match. Tsitsipas enters the campaign following his first round defeat at the Canadian Open. Seventh seed Andrey Rublev is also in the draw. Like Tsitsipas, Rublev too enters the tournament after bowing out from the first round at Canadian Open.

Rublev is likely to begin his campaign against Emil Ruusuvuori in the second round. Rublevl’s compatriot Karen Khachanov is also present in the draw. He will return to action after the French Open 2023. The 11th seed will face Andy Murray in the first round.

Defending champion Borna Coric is the 15th seed and he is the only other seeded player in the quarter. The Croatian faces American Sebastian Korda in the opening round. Coric and Tsitsipas are likely to face each other in the third round. It will be a repeat of last year’s final in the tournament.

Daniil Medvedev headlines third quarter

Russian Daniil Medvedev is the third seed. He will begin his Cincinnati Masters campaign from the second round. Dan Evans or Lorenzo Musetti will be his opponent in the second round. 20-year old Holger Rune is the sixth seed and he is also in the quarter. He is set to face either Mackenzie McDonald or Yannick Hanfmann in the second round.

Felix Auger Aliassime is the 12th seed. The Canadian will face Matteo Berrettini in a blockbuster first round clash. Alexander Zverev is the other seeded player. The German is the 16th seed and will face Grigor Dimitrov in the first round.

Novak Djokovic in final quarter

Novak Djokovic is all set to make his return to the tour after his Wimbledon final loss. The World No.2 will be playing in America for the first time since 2021. He has received a bye to the second round and will begin his campaign by facing either Alejandro Davidovich Fokina or Tomas Etcheverry.

Jannik Sinner, who has reached the final at the Canadian Open, is the eighth seed in the Cincinnati Masters. He is likely to face Francicso Cerundolo in the second round. 9th seed Taylor Fritz and 13th seed Cameron Norrie are the only other seeded players in the draw.

Taylor Fritz will face Jiri Lehecka in the first round. Norrie meanwhile will set up clash against Gael Monfils in the opening round. Canadian Open finalist Alex de Minaur also finds himself in the quarter. He will begin his campaign against JJ Wolf in the first round.
