Genshin Impact version 2.1: Genshin Impact 2.1 introduced a brand new fishing system along with new Serenitea Pot to raise Ornamental Fish. Players will now be able to catch fishes all across Tevyat by getting their hands on different kinds of fishing rods which they can use to catch various types of fishes from the water. The whole list of fishing locations has been revealed for Genshin Impact 2.1. Players need to unlock the Serenitea Pot System and complete the “Exploding Population” quest in order to perform fishing in Genshin Impact 2.1.
Genshin Impact version 2.1: Fishing spots to capture the Medaka fish are spread all across the map of Mondstadt and Inazuma. It is one of the most common fishes in Genshin Impact 2.1 and players can farm plenty of Medaka fish in the below mentioned locations:
- Windrise
- Cidar Lake
- Dihua Marsh
- Stormterror’s Lair
- Stormbearer Mountains
- Tianqiu Valley
- Bishui Plain
- Dragonspine
- Mt. Hulao
- Suigetsu Pool
- Koeski Village
- Mt. Aocang
- Sangonomiya Shrine
Players can get their hands on the Rusty Koi fish at various fishing locations in Liyue and Mondstadt. The spawn rate of the Rusty Koi fish is still unknown and players will need 20 of them to unlock the Catch. Here are the locations players can find Rusty Koi:
- Middle of Fort Hiraumi islands and Koeski Village
- Luhua Pool in Liyue
- The coast of Whispering Woods
- Guili Plains
- Wangshu Inn
The Raimei Angelfish is one of the hardest fishes to catch in Genshin Impact. The fish responds to fake worm baits and offers high rewards when caught successfully. As of now, it only spawns in a single location in Inazuma and only between 18:00 to 6:00. The rare fish only appears on the east of Tatarasuna. It is in the shipwreck area and players can identify the spot by the purple water.
