For the year 2021, the game has been in the top three list in terms of revenue. Prominent data analysis website Sensor Tower shows that in 2021, eight mobile game titles exceeded $1 billion in global player spending. The top three games as per the list are PUBG Mobile ($2.8 billion), Honor Of Kings ($2.8 billion), Genshin Impact ($1.8 billion).

The in-game microtransactions like Crystal Top-Up (various bundles ranging from 60 to 6,480 Genesis Crystals, doesn’t include bonus) keep the players engaged as well as money flowing for the developers. 2021 has been a dominant year for Genshin impact in terms of performance, popularity and finance.
