The popular mobile game PUBG Mobile has released its weekly anti-cheat report, detailing the actions taken against cheaters from March 14th to March 20th. The report highlights the game’s ongoing efforts to maintain a fair and competitive environment for its players. Check out the full report below:

PUBG Mobile Bans Over 469,000 Cheaters

A significant number of accounts, specifically 469,025, were permanently suspended during this period. Additionally, 10,224 devices were banned, indicating a zero-tolerance policy towards repeat offenders. This demonstrates the scale of the anti-cheat system’s operation and the game’s commitment to eliminating cheating.

The report also provided a breakdown of the banned accounts by rank. A large proportion, 62%, were from the Bronze tier, suggesting that cheating is prevalent even among lower-ranked players. Higher-ranked players were also not immune, with 16% of banned accounts at the Ace tier, 3% at Platinum, 3% at Diamond, 5% at Gold, 6% at Silver, and 2% at the prestigious Conqueror tier. This data indicates that cheating is a problem across all skill levels, impacting the integrity of the game for everyone.

Furthermore, PUBG Mobile actively targeted and removed online cheat advertisements, dismantling 1,419 ads with a combined reach of 2,079,866 followers and views. This proactive approach aims to prevent the spread of cheat software and reduce the number of players resorting to unfair practices.

The report also categorized the types of cheats used by the banned accounts. The majority, 74%, fell under the “others” category, suggesting a diverse range of cheat methods. Auto-aim hacks accounted for 11%, speed hacks for 6%, x-ray vision for 6%, and modification of area damage for 3%. This breakdown provides insight into the common cheating tactics employed by players and helps the developers focus their anti-cheat efforts.
