Pokémon GO July 2024 Community Day Takes place on July 21

Niantic the publisher of popular Pokémon GO game announces the Pokémon GO July 2024 Community Day. It will take place on Sunday, July 21, 2024! Join the Trainers in your area and catch Tynamo, the EleFish Pokémon, which will be featured during this Community Day! Check out the locations and more details on upcoming community day below:

Pokémon GO July 2024 Community Day: Locations

This day long Community Day meetups will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. IST in 25 cities, including New Delhi’s Lodhi Garden, Pacific Mall in Tagore Garden and Japanese Park a.k.a Swarn Jayanti Park, Mumbai’s Jogger’s Park, Navi Mumbai’s Mother Teresa Garden, Pune’s Sarasbaug and Phoenix Marketcity Mall in Viman nagar, Gurugram’s Leisure Valley Park, Jaipur’s Jawahar Circle, Bhubaneshwar’s Kharavela Park, Bengaluru’s Gopalan Signature Mall, Cubbon Park, Murugesh Palya and Spice Garden, Kanpur’s Kargil Park, Chandigarh’s Zakir Hussain Rose Garden, Agartala’s Children’s Park, Bardhaman’s Malir Math, Vadodara’s Kamatibaug, Indore’s Lalbagh Garden, Kolkata’s South City Mall, Sarsuna College Lake and Lions Safari Park in Rabindra Sarovar Lake, Varanasi’s Shaheed Udyan Nagar Nigam, Patna’s City Centre Mall, Chennai’s Tower Park in Anna Nagar and Clock Court in Vellore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore’s Race Course, Guduvancherry’s SRM College, Hyderabad’s Indira Park, Santipur’s Public Library Playground, Lucknow’s Fun Republic Mall, Ahmedabad’s Vastrapur Lake, Visakhapatnam’s Central Park and Thiruvananthapuram’s The Napier Museum.

Tynamowill appear more frequently in the wild. If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny one!

Featured attack – Evolve Eelektrik (Tynamo’s Evolution) during the event or up to five hours afterward to get an Eelektross that knows the Fast Attack Volt Switch.

Community Day Special Research story

For INR 29, Trainers will be able to access the Tynamo Community Day–exclusive Special Research story. Stay tuned for when tickets for the Special Research story go live. Don’t forget: you’re now able to purchase and gift tickets to any of your friends that you’ve achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with.

To gift a ticket, tap the Special Research ticket in the in-game shop, then tap the Gift button instead of the Buy button. Tickets are nonrefundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). Please note that this Special Research will not include an in-game medal.

Event Bonuses

1/4 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during the event period
2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.

Bonus Raid Battles after Community Day: After the three-hour Community Day event ends, Trainers will be able to take on special four-star Raid Battles from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. . Claiming victory in one of these raids will cause more Goomy to appear around the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes!

Four-star Raid Battles: Eelektrik will appear in four-star raids! You can only join these raids using Raid Passes and Premium Battle Passes. Remote Raid Passes cannot be used to join these Raid Battles. Once you successfully complete a four-star Raid Battle against Eelektrik, additional Tynamo will appear around the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes. If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one!*

*Tynamo that appear under these circumstances will have the same chance of appearing as a Shiny Pokémon as those that appear during July Community Day’s three-hour event period.
