HLTV is pleased to announce the finalists for the HLTV Awards presented by 1XBET. The event will take place in Serbia, Belgrade on January 11th 2025. The coveted award show presents an evening of celebrating and recognizing those who have achieved outstanding accomplishments within competitive Counter-Strike. Check out the finalists of HLTV Awards 2024 below:
The HLTV Awards are separated into community and panel categories. The panel awards are handpicked by industry representatives including five HLTV staff, ten broadcasters, and twenty representatives from the best teams of the year, and the community awards are voted on by the community via the HLTV website.
As the prestigious night approaches, the three finalists in each category have been revealed. Andrey “B1ad3” Gorodenskiy is in the running for his second coach of the year award following his win in 2022, whilst Nikola “NiKo” Kovač will look to continue his streak as Opener of the Year following back-to-back wins in 2022 and 2023. Following a historic 2023 for Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut, who took home 3 awards last year, fans will be watching to see if ‘the Chosen One’ can secure any wins this year.
