EA SPORTS FC 25 – New Gameplay Innovations: Rush and FC IQ
EA SPORTS FC 25 introduces “Rush,” a new 5v5 experience that leverages the same gameplay controls and mechanics as traditional 11v11 football. Available in Football Ultimate Team™, Clubs, and Kick-Off, Rush allows players to team up in groups of four, with an AI-controlled goalkeeper, for a fast-paced, social football experience. Additionally, in Manager Career mode, Rush offers a unique opportunity to manage Youth Academy development through playable 5v5 tournaments.
FC IQ, another major feature, revolutionizes tactical gameplay in 11v11 matches. This new AI model uses real-world data from top football teams to influence player tactics through all-new Player Roles, enhancing strategic control and delivering more realistic team dynamics. This innovation modernizes positioning and team tactics, creating greater variation and realism in each match.
Expanding Career Mode and Women’s Football
For the first time, Career Mode in EA SPORTS FC 25 will feature women’s football, achieving parity with men’s football across all game modes. This inclusion aligns with EA SPORTS FC’s commitment to growing the women’s game. Additionally, the new “Live Start Points” feature allows players to immerse themselves in real-world football storylines, taking control of clubs after significant events such as mid-season transfers or managerial changes.

Launch Details and Pre-Order Benefits
The title will be available on September 27, 2024, with early access for Ultimate Edition pre-orders starting September 20, 2024. The game will be released on multiple platforms, including PlayStation®5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch™. Pre-orders for the Ultimate Edition made by August 20 will include exclusive player benefits, such as special historic player items for Football Ultimate Team squads in both EA SPORTS FC 24 and EA SPORTS FC 25.
