This first-of-its-kind event saw DreamHack being included as an extended offering in Hyderabad Comic Con. The 3-day festival saw a record-breaking footfall of more than 40,000+ attendees. It bought together gamers, comic book fans, creators, and pop culture enthusiasts in a space where esports and fandom converged. The event features gripping esports tournaments to exclusive comic book launches, high-energy cosplay contests, and thrilling meet-and-greet sessions with top gaming personalities. DreamHack x Hyderabad Comic Con 2024 exceeded all expectations and left fans wanting more.

Day 3 of DreamHack 2024 was an epic conclusion to the action-packed tournaments. GodLike Esports emerged victorious in the Snapdragon Pro Series. The team secures the title and a share of the INR 24 lakh prize pool. In the OMEN VALORANT Campus Quest Season 2 finals, Amigos Esports triumphed with their strategic play, winning the INR 3 lakh prize. In KO Fight Night, Player Wasif Bilal (YOSHIKILLER) claimed victory in Tekken 8. He takes home INR 1.6 lakh while Sahbaan (SAK) emerged victorious in the Street Fighter 6 segment.

Fans met with their favourite personalities
The Meet & Greet Zones powered by official talent partners 8-Bit Creatives were packed with fans. They were eager to meet their favorite gaming personalities, including Raj Varma (Snax), Naman Mathur (Mortal), Payal Dhare (Payal Gaming), and Kashvi Hiranandani (Kaashvi), among others.
The legendary BYOD Zone remained a hub of excitement, where players competed in various games on their own peripherals. Elsewhere, at the retro zone, retro videogame classics like Pac-Man, and a collection of 16 beloved board games enthralled festival attendees. The Blitz and Rapid Chess Tournament crowned Wagh Suyog its champion, highlighting the diverse appeal of DreamHack’s competitive format.

Hyderabad Comic Con’s final day was equally vibrant, featuring exclusive comic book launches such as The Warrior God and Weapons of Mass Extinction: Stage 1 – Blood of The Last Asuran. The cosplay contest saw talented cosplayers battling for a chance to represent Hyderabad at the Indian Championship of Cosplay 2025 Qualifiers.
Fans were also treated to special sessions with creators, intimate fireside chats, and live DJ sets, with comedy acts by Syed Bashaar and Harsh Gujral adding an extra layer of entertainment to the event. The Geek Fruit session, bringing iconic gaming theme songs to life, added a nostalgic touch to the weekend’s festivities.
