Shubman Gill CENTURY: GT vs MI Qualifier 2: IPL 2023: Gujarat Titans’ opener Shubman Gill continued his scintillating form in the ongoing IPL 2023 as the batter smashed his 3rd century of the tournament against the Mumbai Indians in the second Qualifier at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Friday. Gill had previously scored two back-to-back centuries against Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the tournament. However, his exceptional innings came to an end in the 17th over as he was caught by Tim David, the same player who had dropped him earlier on 30. Gill received a standing ovation from the crowd and players as he walked off after scoring 129 off 60 balls.

Gujarat Titans post a mammoth 233 in Qualifier 2

Shubman Gill’s century powered Gujarat Titans to a mammoth 233/ 3 in 20 overs against Mumbai Indians in IPL 2023, Qualifier 2. Mumbai Indians managed to get Wriddhiman Saha (18) shortly after the conclusion of the powerplay. However, post that, it was the Gill show as he and along with Sai Sudharsan stitched 138 runs for the second wicket to put Mumbai Indians on the back foot. Akash Madhwal finally got the breakthrough as he dismissed Gill on 129. Earlier, MI skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl first after a delay due to rain.
