Women’s Premier League franchises have released the player retention list for WPL 2024. A total of 89 players have been released/retained by 5 franchises as we head into the WPL 2024 auction to reset their squads.
Gujarat Giants have retained the least amount of players (8) from the squad that played the WPL 2023. Champions Mumbai Indians have retained 13 players, while Delhi Capitals retained 5 players from last season’s team.
With the WPL 2024 Auction set to take place in a couple of months (December), teams have made some major changes to their squads ahead of the second edition of the Women’s Premier League.
