Free Fire MAX Ban in India possible or not

The Government of India has been taking strong measures against Chinese applications since early 2020. In February 2022, GOI banned Free Fire from all platforms citing security concerns, while the max version of the game remained open. In the last few days, the rumor of Free Fire MAX intensified after BGMI’s removal from all platforms. There are also a few sections of fans who are demanding a ban on the Free Fire MAX, showing Tencent(Chinese company)’s involvement. So, this is one of the reasons that creates confusion.

However, reports suggest that the MAX version of the game is completely owned by the Singaporean company as there are no direct links between Tencent and Garena. Hence, Garena Free Fire MAX has very less chance to be banned, as of now. Meanwhile, Garena can not host regional tournaments in India due to its ban (February 2022), which led to several concerns. Free Fire MAX users are currently enjoying the fifth Anniversary of the game featuring Justin Bieber’s collaboration. So, as of now, fans can continue exploring the game and enjoy what is in store for them.

So, these are all about the ongoing circumstances. Things may change in the future also. Stay tuned with us. So, follow InsideSport.IN for future updates on Garena Free Fire and Free Fire MAX.
