Francis Ngannou PFL Contract Explained: Chairman of PFL Africa, Athlete Global Advisory Board and More
Recently, PFL announced Francis Ngannou as his new addition to their promotion under the Super Fight Division. This new division also features Jake Paul and Kayla Harrison giving them the freedom to fight in both MMA and Boxing as well. Francis Ngannou will join PFL in mid-2024 following his boxing commitments against Tyson Fury.
As per PFL, Francis Ngannou’s new contract is the most expensive contract in MMA history. This will allow the former UFC Champion to compete in the PFL MMA Super Fight Division, become a part of PFL’s Global Athlete Advisory Board, and become the Chairman of PFL Africa. He will be contributing and responsible for the expansion and success of PFL Africa. Also, his role in the Global Athlete Advisory Board allows him to collaborate with big fighters around the world, and his the only active fighter on the Board.
Francis Ngannou will be a big addition to PFL when he joins the PFL in mid-2024. As per the reports, the CEO of PFL Peter Murray acknowledged Ngannou’s vision to compete for the African communities and grow the sport to the next level.
As noted earlier, DAZN has partnered with PFL for PFL’s Live PPVs all over the world. This has brought major success for the PFL to showcase their fighters in front of a large audience. Meanwhile, Ngannou will be trying to compete against Tyson Fury this year for a potential boxing match.
