Formula E Hyderabad Live: Ram Charan has a fanboy moment clicks a picture with Sachin Tendulkar
Tollywood Actor Ram Charan also went to see E racing in Hyderabad. The actor had a fanboy moment as he clicked a picture with Tendulkar. The Formula E racing in Hydrebad got underway today. This is India’s first-ever Formula E race. Some of the biggest names in racing will take part in the E Prix.
The Formula E Hyderabad will be Telecasted on the Star Sports Network (Star Sports Select 2). The Live Streaming will also be available on Disney + HotStar in India.
The podium finishers of the inaugural Formula E race in India on Saturday will not get to ‘pop the champagne’, a decades-old tradition in motorsport, as part of the victory celebrations. Instead, they will have to make do with confetti cannons.
Keeping the ‘local customs’ in mind, all stakeholders of the Hyderabad race – promoters Greenko, Telangana government, Formula E, and the series champagne sponsor Moet & Chandon – have decided to not use the bubbly on the podium. Formula E respects the local tradition and customs, too, and that was the reason and that was the reason why the previous round in Saudi Arabia had confetti canons for celebration instead of champagne.
