Sauber will undergo a name change for the 2024 Formula 1 season, becoming Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber, as a result of Alfa Romeo’s departure as their title sponsor.
This rebranding will be in effect for the next two seasons, leading up to the team’s transition to Audi in 2026 when they will officially become the German manufacturer’s works squad.
There aren’t any changes to the numbers drivers use, so the F1 2024 season entry list doesn’t have many new things, except for the new name of the team that was Alfa Romeo and a new main sponsor for Aston Martin.
AlphaTauri has rebranded itself after four seasons as the Racing Bulls, and Alfa Romeo is now Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber. They’re not working with the Italian company for the next two seasons before Audi joins in 2026. The car will be called the KICK Sauber.
The Aston Martin team has changed its sponsor from Cognizant to Aramco and will be with them until 2028.
