Horner is a British former racing driver. In November 2004 when the Austrian energy drink company Red Bull purchased Jaguar F1 Team, which became Red Bull Racing. In January 2005, Horner was appointed to head the team, becoming the youngest team principal at the time.
He is currently the Team Principal of the Red Bull Formula One team, a position he has held since 2005. Ecclestone believes that he can do this job as he listens well, And sort out what’s rubbish and what isn’t.

Controversy raised when Ecclestone and the CEO of McLaren, Zak Brown both supported the FIA’s decision on changing it’s international codes of wearing rainbow helmets by the F1 driver, Lewis Hamilton On track. Clearly the rainbow helmet signified the LGBTQ community and Hamilton’s support for it.

Even though Formula 1 is a high octane sport and Sports can be used for peace reasons, however Ecclestone Believes in not using the F1 platform To raise Concerns of political nature and want the F1 drivers to not make any personal statements.
He also says that the drivers Definitely have free speech, but it’s a case of when and how they use it. He would prefer the F1 driver, Hamilton to stay focused on driving instead of bringing his private personal agendas on track.

Ecclestone ran Formula One for 40 years, which ended in 2017. Since 2021 the ex- Ferrari executive, Domenicali has been in charge. As for the man who currently wears the hat he donned so successfully, Ecclestone clearly is unimpressed by F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali.
He states that Stefano has never been close to Things beyond the fact that he once worked for Ferrari.
