A convoy of the most exclusive and sought-after supercars reached Swansea City of Whales two days ago to surprise a terminally-ill child Morgan Ridler. Making a special appearance at the venue was a Mercedes F1 car worth 15 million dollars. The chassis was closely resembling the Silver Arrows W-14 and was there as a part of a massive public attempt towards a child in his last days.
Ridler is a 3-year-old kid suffering from a rare cancer disease that was detected when he was just two. After several rounds of chemotherapy, the boy was healing and really wanted to attend this year’s F1 race at Silverstone. However, the cancer returned in June this year rendering him terminally sick again. His regular medicines stopped working and the doctors decided to shift him to palliative care.
Owing to this, he was not in a state to attend the British GP. When the news broke out, there was an overwhelming response towards doing something joyous for the young fighter. His parents Natalie and Matthew Ridler are making sure to provide him with as much happiness as the boy can fathom. Moreover, the public donated more than £20,000 via an online crowdfunding page to help the Swansea family.

Mercedes Spokesperson Tells details of the emotional day
Mercedes team was quick to respond as they came to know of Ridler’s love for supercars. The Silver Arrows and primarily Lewis Hamilton are known for their generous and loving connection with their fans. The Briton is arguably the most socially giving guy on the grid, whether it be a charity or standing up for the downtrodden, Hamilton always is the last man standing for this. He alongside Sebastian Vettel are two most loved guys in F1 for the same reason.
Recently, after making a fantastic visit along with supercars including Porshe, the Mercedes spokesperson opened up about the team’s initial plans that included having the kid over at Silverstone. “We were planning on inviting Morgan to come to Silverstone with us to meet the drivers and see the cars in the garage, but he sadly needed to stop his treatment, so his condition didn’t allow him to travel anymore.”
“So we decided to bring the car to him along with the drivers’ helmets, steering wheel, race suit, and gloves for him to get a little race track feel. We also showed him some messages from Lewis, George, and Toto. It was lovely to meet Morgan, his whole family, his friends, and the community,” said the Mercedes man.
