Battle for 2nd

Sergio Perez has had a very inconsistent year. However, the pace of the Red Bull has ensured he is still 33 points clear of Lewis Hamilton in 3rd with just 6 races to go. Fernando Alonso looked good early on but stands 4th despite 7 podiums.

Battle Behind

The two Ferrari drivers are 5th and 6th in the Formula 1 Driver Standings, Carlos Sainz just 15 points ahead. The two British drivers Lando Norris and George Russell find themselves 7th and 8th on equal points (115).

The Mid-Pack

Oscar Piastri sits 9th, ahead of Lance Stroll who is having a terrible Formula 1 season. Both Alpine drivers follow them, with Pierre Gasly ahead of Esteban Ocon. Alexander Albon finds himself in an unbelievable 13th position, having scored all of Williams’ points so far.
