Ferrari have got into the trend of doing some special liveries each year. Last year, they celebrated 75 years of the team. This year, they have dished out another new livery and new race suit for both their drivers. Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz have showcased the new race suit on social media already. The Tifosi will be hopeful for a strong showing at the Italian GP in an otherwise disappointing Formula 1 campaign.
The New Livery and Race Suits
It is not obvious what Ferrari are trying to celebrate this year. However, once the new livery was unveiled, fans noticed that it looked similar to a certain winner. Ferrari won the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year on their return to the event. They did it with their 499P Hypercar.
The new livery for their Formula 1 car looks very similar to the livery for their 499P Hypercar. A bit more black is involved, and the famous Modena yellow makes a splash as well. Ferrari will hope that this livery can inspire some success in their otherwise dismal 2023 Formula 1 season.

Heading back to Monza
Ferrari always try to deliver at the Italian GP. They haven’t won here since 2019 when Charles Leclerc triumphed in a battle with both the Mercedes. Carlos Sainz put in an impressive performance last year cutting through the field after a power-unit penalty.
In 1988, when McLaren dominated the entire season, the Italian GP was the only race won by a non-McLaren driver. The race was held shortly after the death of Ferrari founder Enzo Ferrari. Through a few incidents, Ferrari secured a magical 1-2 on their home turf. With Red Bull winning everything this year, Ferrari will surely hope for something similar as they go to Monza.
